Level 1 I feel like the stuff with Will Smith as a human doing spy stuff will be the most enjoyable part of the movie. It will also be about 15 minutes of the movie. level 2 Probably. Also, call me paranoid but first Princess and the Frog, then Soul and now this, why Disney animated films with black leads always end up turned into something else? level 1 For sure gonna have serious oscar buzz, probably gonna have an R rating, floor 3 billion. level 1 Kid characters in these types of films are always such darn r/fellowkids fodder. level 1 Looks pretty generic but reckon it'll be a fun movie for little kids. I doubt there will be a ton of promo but a Will Smith/ Tom Holland duo would be awesome fun level 1 It seems Disney is confident about this movie, considering they actually promoted it with their main social media account. level 2 They also promoted Dark Phoenix iirc. level 2 Considering Fox produced/financed the movie before being acquired by Disney, I say yeah, they will have to promote the rest of the Fox's own finished movies to avoid the Dark Phoenix situation. Hopefully Disney will reorganize Blue Sky into making highly, quality animated movies in the future. level 1 Does anyone know the budget of this one? It could make the difference between a flop or small profits. level 1 Looks like Disney isn't moving the date like this sub predicted. level 1 Looks cute and a passable time at the movies! level 1 I’m hopeful that Spies in Disguise will do well at the box office, even with competing with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and Jumanji: The Next Level. Even more so thanks to the star power of Will Smith and especially Tom Holland. I’m not sure how Blue Sky will do under Disney’s control, but I’m hopeful that they will still do fine. level 2 Cats will bomb, and Spies is targeting a different demographic. Only Jumanji will have any effect on Star Wars. level 2 I feel like $85million is a good projection at least as that is what both of Fox's previous December Star Wars counterprogramming respectively did But I feel like this will do a tad better as its a much more exciting and marketable premise, not to mention two very popular lead voices level 2 Cats will flop and this might too. Jumanji is the only real heavy threat this year unless there is some other film I'm forgetting about. level 2 0% chance this movie has any effect at all on The Rise of Skywalker.

PIKA PIKA. Curls into a ball 😂😂😂. Spies in Disguise is much more straightforward to translate than Pigeon Impossible. Mission can be impossible, but impossible in Pigeon Impossible will have a very different meaning. There are 2 meanings of impossible: unable to exist, happen or be achieved very difficult to deal with Mission Impossible is obviously the first meaning (that is impossible to complete), while we all know that pigeons exist, and it doesn't make sense for pigeons to be "completed", so it's the second meaning for Pigeon Impossible. (Also who would want to watch a film about a difficult to deal with pigeon? ) Unless it's a language very close to English, different meanings would be translated with different words and the link between names of the two films would be lost.

'Spies in Disguise' is essentially a family-friendly James Bond, with the minor twist that the spy gets turned into a pigeon! It's got plenty of action and adventure for an animated film, with Lance (Smith) the super-spy fighting the Yakuza in one of the opening scenes. He's assisted by the weird gadget guy, Walter (Holland) as they're framed by the villain, Killian (Mendelsohn - great to hear his Aussie accent) who has a robotic hand, and are chased down by Marcy (Jones) from a FBI-like agency.
It's a bit like 'Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs' in that Walter is an awkward inventor of weird and wonderful gadgets, but wants to make the world a better place and make them non-lethal, rather than just guns and bombs. This obviously clashes with Lance's views, especially when he's transformed into a pigeon via gene-editing (100% impossible. Hence, Will Smith spends most of the film voicing a pigeon, which is also where much of the humour comes from.
There are quite a few funny moments, especially as pigeon-Lance inadvertently befriends other pigeons. It's mostly fun and fast-paced. The main thing I didn't like is that Spider-Man spent most of 'Far From Home' fighting drones in Venice, which is essentially what Tom Holland ends up doing here. I guess they're easy to have as disposable bad guys. Cool to hear some of the voices, but the film's heart comes from the friendship and teamwork formed by Lance and Walter, as well as the positive message that we're all weird in our own way - and that's a good thing.

They SO GOOD 😁. ¿Cómo se llama la canción del 1:10. Vakoojat valepuvuissa Watch online casino. Vakoojat valepuvuissa Watch online ecouter.

Level 1 You'd think that Blue Sky would have learned their lesson after the first time they tried releasing an animated movie in the same month as a Star Wars movie and a Jumanji movie, but they clearly didn't. level 2 Tbf it was Disney's idea. Spies in disguise was scheduled for September. It was moved to December the week the merge was completely done. level 2 Despite Star Wars, Jumanji and the equivalent tentpole musical all making significantly less though this also somehow posted even weaker results than Ferdinand level 1 That's an honest shame. I found it to be one of their best movies, and honest to god a lot better than most of the animated releases last year level 2 It’ll probably find a home on home video and streaming (although I should note that it won’t be going to Disney+ for a while because of Fox’s pre-existing deal with HBO). level 1 Definitely hurt TROS’ box office. /s level 1 Might be worth mentioning, Ice Age: Collision Course made $408 million worldwide, so Spies in Disguise is still bluesky's worst perfoming movie by far level 1 Will Smith is having a bad year, and it’s only February. level 2 Every actor has their own box office hits and misses. Some actors fade to obscurity as a result of those misses, some continue to star in mainstream big studio productions. Will Smith fall in the latter category.

The movie is starting, please silence all your shaggys and scoobys.

Spies in Disguise Super spy Lance Sterling (Will Smith) and scientist Walter Beckett (Tom Holland) are almost exact opposites. Lance is smooth, suave and debonair. Walter is … not. But when events take an unexpected turn, this unlikely duo are forced to team up for the ultimate mission that will require an almost impossible disguise – transforming Lance into the brave, fierce, majestic… pigeon. Walter and Lance suddenly have to work as a team, or the whole world is in peril. “Spies in Disguise” flies into theaters this Christmas. Directed By Troy Quane, Nick Bruno Produced By Fox Animation, Blue Sky Studios, Chernin Entertainment Inspired By The Animated Short Film: Pigeon: Impossible by Lucas Martell Cast Will Smith, Tom Holland, Ben Mendelsohn, Karen Gillan, Rashida Jones, DJ Khaled, Masi Oka.

I liked Spies in Disguise on the same level as Hotel Transylvania. Its got fast, colorful animation with a touch of heart. I was quite surprised how decently funny it was, too. When Will Smith's character turned into a pigeon, I was sure the film would nosedive with groan-worthy comedy, but there was an ample amount of satisfying visual gags to go along with it. The spins on spy genre films were fairly clever, too, all the way down to the stylish opening credits. This is probably the most effort I've seen Blue Sky put into a film. I was charmed and entertained through a majority of it. The characters do come straight out of an assembly line with backstories and ideologies that have been explored too many times to count. The villain is especially forgettable. The film's touches on the typical messages regarding "teamwork" and "good vs. evil" but nothing that resonates uniquely. It's more a treat for eyes, but sometimes that's okay.
